  1. Please provide the link for PowerPivot Best Practices / Capacity Planning Guide

    1. We have yet to complete this guide – as soon as it is completed, I will definitely post it up. Sorry!

  2. Hey Denny,

I have a question on how you handle SAN Snapshots and Load Balancing… My question is a little more technical in nature than the “Scale-Out Querying for Analysis Services with Read-Only Databases”. Can you please help?

    1. To handle SAN snapshots and load balancing, best to work with your Systems Engineer as each SAN vendor operates SAN differently. As for Load balancing, please reference the Analysis Services 2008 R2 Operations Guide. http://sqlcat.com/sqlcat/b/whitepapers/archive/2011/06/01/sql-server-2008r2-analysis-services-operations-guide.aspx

      HTH!

  3. Phillip Labry

    Hi Denny,
It looks like all your SQLCAT links are being redirected to this page http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sqlcat/

    Phillip

    1. Sorry for the delayed response, a lot of the original SQLCAT articles have been removed and not re-generated. I will eventually work on seeing if I can get some of the original articles posted on my site. If you have any requests – please ping me (or tweet me @dennylee) and I’ll see if I can find them. HTH!
